Future Code and the companies that help us run our business use cookies in several ways, such as:

- Keeping track of information you have provided to us — for example, keeping items in your shopping cart as you browse futurecode.shop
- Providing you the Future Code websites that you use
- Remembering your preferences or where you left off in your use of an Future Code website
- Measuring your use of Future Code websites so that we can improve them, tailor our websites to your likely interests, and conduct market research
- Understanding your likely interests so we can provide you more relevant Future Code ads and content on non-Future Code websites and in non-Future Code apps
- Running the Future Code solutions that help our business customers personalize and improve the performance of their websites, apps, and marketing messages.
Technologies similar to cookies
Technically speaking, cookies are called “HTTP cookies.” There are other technologies that can be used for similar purposes, such as HTML5 Local Storage and local shared objects (LSOs). LSOs are used by the authors of files that are read by Future Code and the websites hosting those files. We may use HTML5 Local Storage, LSOs, and similar technologies for authenticating you, keeping track of information you have provided to us, and remembering your preferences (see bullet points above). When you are using a Future Code application offline, we may store information related to how you used that website on your device and then transfer it to our servers the next time you connect online to our service.
Web beacons and embedded scripts
Web beacons and embedded scripts are other technologies that we use in our websites, as well as in some of our emails and ads.
Web beacons (or “tags”) are bits of programming code included in web pages, emails, and ads that notify Future Code (or the companies that help us run our business) when those web pages, emails, or ads have been viewed or clicked on.
Embedded scripts are bits of programming code included within some of our web pages that measure how you use those web pages, such as which links you click. We use this information to improve our websites, tailor our websites to your likely interests, and conduct market research. You may be able to turn off scripting functionality, such as JavaScript, within your browser (please refer to your browser’s help function). Note that if you disable scripting functionality, some Future Code websites may not function properly.
Future Code and Social Networking
Please be aware that personal information you make available via social media apps and websites may be viewed, collected, and used by us and others. Collection and sharing of personal information on social media apps and websites is governed by the privacy policy and practices of the social media service provider.
Future Code may collect information about you in connection with social networking sites in several ways, including:
- When you sign in to a Future Code app or website using a social networking account, such as a Facebook account. These social networking sign-in features may also enable an Future Code account to be created more easily by using the information you provided to the social networking site
- When you use a Future Code DriverPRO Updater app on a social networking site or choose to join (or “like”) a Future Code page on a social networking site (such as the Future Code page on Facebook). In these situations, the social networking site may make some information about you available to Future Code. Please see the privacy policy of the social networking site to learn more
- When you interact with an Future Code social networking page or content, we may use cookies to learn which links you clicked
- When you make information publicly available on your social networking page
To learn more about the privacy practices of a social networking site on which you interact with Future Code , please refer to the privacy policy for that social networking site.
We may reach out to you in different ways, for example, to tell you about a new Futuer Code app we think you’d be interested in, or to show you how to use a particular feature we think you may enjoy.
Future Code email, telephone, and postal mail marketing
If you agree to receive email, telephone, or postal mail marketing from us, we try to make it useful for you based on your likely interests. For example, we check to see if you have opened emails so we can measure their effectiveness. We also send you recommendations for products and services based on the way you use Future Code products and services. If you are a business customer and agreed to receive Future Code marketing communications, we may share your information with our resellers and other sales partners. We do not share personal information about consumers with third parties for their own marketing purposes unless the consumer agreed to that sharing.
Tailoring Future Code apps and websites to your interests
When you are using a Future Code app or website, we may show you content, offers, or recommendations that are based on your likely interests.
Future Code
Future Code runs online ad campaigns that display ads for you based on your likely interests. We may learn your likely interests when you use our apps and websites. We also acquire information from other companies that gives us more insight about your likely interests based on your activity on non-Future Code web pages and mobile apps. These types of ads are often called “interest-based ads” or “online behavioral advertising.” We use ad platforms to display Future Code ads on non-Future Code web pages and in non-Future Code apps.
The ad platforms we hire to display these ads set their own cookies, web beacons, and other identifiers to measure the effectiveness of these ads and to understand your likely interests. We and our ad platforms learn information such as which Future Code ads are shown to you, which ads are clicked on, and on which web page or in which app they were displayed.
The ad platforms we hire may also use technology that helps them identify devices and browsers that are being used by the same person. We may use these ad platforms to display ads to you on non-Future Code websites or apps, which are tailored to you based on your use of our websites and apps on your various devices and browsers.
If you prefer that we not deliver ads to you in non-Future Code apps based on how you use Future Code apps and websites, please set the preference on your mobile device to limit ad tracking.
Please note that if you do set your preferences as described above, you may still see Future Code ads on other companies’ websites or apps, but they will not be based on your activity on our websites and apps.

Future Code also runs other kinds of online ad campaigns on social networking websites and other non-Future Code websites and apps. Some of these ads may be based on information we have about users (for example, customers who have an outdated version of Future Code may see an ad for the latest version). These ads may also be based on information the user provided to the third-party website or app. If Future Code provides information to a website or app for these advertising purposes, the information may only be used to display the Future Code ad Please see the privacy policy of the website or app where a Future Code ad is shown for more information about its privacy practices and privacy choices it may offer.
At this time, Future Code websites do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
EU-U.S. Privacy Shield/European data transfers
Safeguards for Personal Information.
When Future Code transfers personal information from customers across national borders, we do so in compliance with applicable law.
How does Future Code transfer your EU personal data?
For our individual users and customers whose use of Future Code websites and apps results in the transfer of personal information from the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland to non-EEA countries, we rely on one or more of the following legal mechanisms: the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield, Standard Contractual Clauses, and consent of the individual.
Future Code has certified that it complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for transfers of your personal information from the EEA and Switzerland in connection with Future Code websites and apps.

How does Future Code transfer EU personal data on behalf of our business customers?
For our business customers whose use of Future Code solutions results in the transfer of personal information from the EEA or Switzerland to non-EEA countries, Future Code relies on the following legal mechanisms: the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield, and Standard Contractual Clauses. More information about our certification to the Privacy Shield is provided below. Regarding the Standard Contractual Clauses, Future Code has prepared a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) that includes the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). If you are a Future Code business customer and want to enter into a DPA and SCCs with Future Code please contact us.
Future Code Privacy Shield certification
Future Code has certified to the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the transfer of personal information from the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland to the United States.
As described in the policy, for individual users who reside outside of North America, your relationship is with Future Code which is the “data controller” with regard to your personal information collected by Future Code Your personal information may be transferred to Future Code (Future Code under our Privacy Shield certification or other legal transfer mechanisms, as described above.
With respect to personal information processed on behalf of our EEA and Swiss business customers, under EU privacy laws, Future Code is generally considered a “data processor.” As part of Future Code providing services to the business customer, this personal information of consumers may be transferred by DriverPRO Updater to Future Code Shop. under our Privacy Shield certification or Standard Contractual Clauses, as described above.
